New Series

Our November series will be based on the books of 1, 2, and 3 John. The overarching theme is love as discussed in each book. We need a name for our series as well as a logo.

Here's the breakdown
Week 1 - 1 John - Loving God
Week 2 - 2 John - Loving Truth
Week 3 - 3 John - Loving God's Servants

Our December series is title "Fear Not" and is based on the stories in Matthew and Luke when someone is told "Do not be afraid."

Week 1 - Matthew 1:18-25 - Joseph
Week 2 - Luke 1:26-38 - Mary
Week 3 - Luke 2:18-20 - Angels

Let's start thinking about these so that we can get ahead of the curve on them!

This Week's Meeting

Because we really need to have a longer meeting than one hour to wrap up our Born to Run planning, we will NOT meet this Tuesday. Instead, the creative team will meet on Wednesday from 6-9. Read through the Born to Run scripture passages. We will need some video ideas for each week as well as look at any other creative ways to share the message.

Also, looking into the future, we will be doing a Christmas series during December (7, 14, 21) entitle "Fear Not." The scripture passages are Matthew 1:18-25 (week 1), Luke 1:26-38 (week 2) and Luke 2:8-20 (week 3). Be thinking about some creative ways to share those messages.
