I found this online. Might be a good name for the Prayer Series.

Oct 5 service review
I wont be in Tuesday night. My daughter has a family night at school I'm going to.
11:46-started countdown
11:49 Veggie Tales clip
11:51 Life is a Highway <--- AWESOME!
11:58 Welcome
11:58 All we Need
12:02 O Praise Him
12:07 Agnus Dei
12:13 Amena Clip
12:14 Sermon
12:48 Finished
Things I noticed.
1.Life is a highway was great. It's tied for first with are you ready.
2.Nice timing on the welcome. Was real quick. Good job Jamie =)
3.The video that was playing with life is a highway was very laggy.
4.On the songs the lyrics were slow getting up.
5.Good job on song selection for this service. I know I enjoyed them alot. Was like a mini rock concert.
6.We need to make a motion to sit after the Last song. Half the people sat and the other half stood. Was awkward.
7.The Verses on the screen were different then what Jamie was reading.(I know you mentioned this on the other blog.)
8.We got started late. Everyone needs to be ready to go at 11:45 and countdown needs to start 11:45 on the dot.
9.Priscella and Lori tried to get everyone clapping. Gold star for yall!
10.Still no radio or important person t-shirt.
Make sure everyone encourages someone to come on high attendance day. Good early preview of the service and great way to get the word out.
Overall I thought this service was the first or 2nd best(being tied with the first one.) I really enjoyed it. I think everyone is doing a great job and all the stuff we need to fix is very minor. Amen!

New Series
Our November series will be based on the books of 1, 2, and 3 John. The overarching theme is love as discussed in each book. We need a name for our series as well as a logo.
Here's the breakdown
Week 1 - 1 John - Loving God
Week 2 - 2 John - Loving Truth
Week 3 - 3 John - Loving God's Servants
Our December series is title "Fear Not" and is based on the stories in Matthew and Luke when someone is told "Do not be afraid."
Here's the breakdown
Week 1 - Matthew 1:18-25 - Joseph
Week 2 - Luke 1:26-38 - Mary
Week 3 - Luke 2:18-20 - Angels
Let's start thinking about these so that we can get ahead of the curve on them!
Peace - Jamie

This Week's Meeting
Because we really need to have a longer meeting than one hour to wrap up our Born to Run planning, we will NOT meet this Tuesday. Instead, the creative team will meet on Wednesday from 6-9. Read through the Born to Run scripture passages. We will need some video ideas for each week as well as look at any other creative ways to share the message.
Also, looking into the future, we will be doing a Christmas series during December (7, 14, 21) entitle "Fear Not." The scripture passages are Matthew 1:18-25 (week 1), Luke 1:26-38 (week 2) and Luke 2:8-20 (week 3). Be thinking about some creative ways to share those messages.
See you Wednesday!
Peace - Jamie

B-Roll
I was watching a few videos on You Tube last night and today of a few praise & worship and secular songs that other churches have used in their services that are similar to Reveal.
I know this takes some degree of planning, but I'd like to put it out there and hear what y'all think. In this video using Chris Tomlin's "God of This City," a significant amount of background footage (called B-Roll in the media industry) of church service projects and events.
I don't know if this is something Hunter might do with the videos in the service, but I think it might be a good idea if for every church event, we have some kind of footage for it that we can use later on (versus spending an a lot of amount of money on stock videos or not having any video at all). I know that we already have a good stockpile of still shots that are taken during most church events, but I think it would be a great idea to include video in there as well.
Just my 10-cents... gonna get a nap now; oceanography (its an elective) is at 2 p.m.

Born 2 Run Video ideas
Hunter and I met for a while last night to discuss video ideas for the Born to Run series. we had two ideas that we wanted to get some feedback on.
Idea 1 - A montage of movie clips focused on running scenes. Here were some of the scenes we discussed - Forrest Gump (there are actually a few good running scenes), Rocky, Chariots of Fire, and Catch Me If You Can (thanks, Priscila). If you have any other movies, let us hear them.
Idea 2 - Clips of a runner in different places (down Dave Lyle, around Winthrop Lake, in downtown RH) with a closing clip of him/her running away from the camera down a country road with the tag "What are you running from?" or something like that.
Let us know what you think. Plus if you have some ideas on your own, let us hear them. One of the things we discussed was using some comedy. But that's not my strength.

I like our Reveal logo. Megan and Priscilla did a great job putting it together. They gave us some great choices. Check out Newspring's new logo. See anything familiar?

Meeting
We will have our next creative team meeting on Wednesday, July 30 at 6:45pm at the Rock. If you can't be there, please let Will or me know by Sunday, July 27.
Here's the agenda:
Settling on a weekly meeting time for the fall. Before you show up at our next meeting, pick a day of the week and a time that is most convenient for you for our weekly meetings.
Reviewing the Reveal series logo. Yes, we will have a logo for each series. No, green dots won't be a part of it. Hopefully, we'll have a two or three choices for you to look at before the meeting.
Reviewing the music, video, etc. for the Reveal series. We should be able to preview the Indy video opening.
Start planning the Born to Run series for October. I'll post the scriptures here before the meeting.

I've been listening and thinking about the final song for week 2 of Reveal. Currently, we have David Crowder's "Remedy", but it doesn't seem to fit quite right. I was wondering what the thought was on "You Said" by Reuben Morgan (Covered by Shane&Shane on Psalms). Let me know what you think.

"You Said" by Reuben Morgan
V1
You said, ask and you will receive
Whatever you need
You said, pray and I'll hear from heaven
And I'll heal your land
C1
You said
Ask and I'll give the nations to you
O Lord, that's the cry of my heart
Distant shores and the islands will see
Your light, as it rises on us
V2
You said, Your glory will fill the earth
Like water the sea
You said, lift up your eyes
The harvest is here, the kingdom is here

Rise Up- Third Day
This is it(you instead of me) - Jonah 33
